| I’m looking for *Cemilia Van de Romstée*. She’s a bay Belgian Warmblood by Emilion and Natoucha (Sire of Dam: Brownboy), born in 2002. I took care of her between 2005-2007 when she was starting her career as a showjumping horse in Normandy, France. She was later bought in Ireland by a man who, in turn, sold her too but can't remember who it was to… He could only tell me she had a foal (no date specified).
One day I showed up at the stables and was told I had half a day to say “bye” as transporters would soon come pick her up to send her overseas. My parents didn’t have the resources her to keep her (I was 16 then) and so I had to let her go.
We developed a special bond which I can still feel very vividly inside of me. She is stubborn, moody and playful, and she would do anything for you if you get her to trust you. I’ve been missing her everyday since.
I have no idea where she could be now, or if she is still alive. I’m French and have little knowledge of how to navigate the Irish (or UK) database. Also she should now be 22 so would it be possible that she is too old to be recorded on official showjumping websites?
If you’ve heard of her - or her baby - or know where I should look then please, please let me know. I would be really grateful. |
