I owned Sancho growing up in the 1970s and reluctantly sold him in the late 1970s. I realise that he will have passed away by now but I often think about him and pray that he had a happy life. He was a beautiful, dapple strawberry roan pony and stood about 13.2 hands high. He was spirited and not an easy ride but I loved him very much. I sold him to a lovely couple who I think had three young children, so I hope he stayed in their family for the rest of his life. I lived in Rottingdean, near Brighton but I don’t recall the whereabouts of his new family at that time. I would be so grateful to know whether anyone recognises Sancho and can tell me more about his life after we parted. |
